PULLMAN, Wash. – Sophomore Ny Redding and junior Renard Suggs have been granted their releases from the Washington State University men’s basketball program and will transfer, head coach Ernie Kent announced Friday.
“Ny Redding and Renard Suggs each asked for their release from Washington State, and they have been granted to them,” Kent said. “Ny and Renard have been great contributors to our basketball program both on and off the court. We wish them the very best in all their future endeavors.”
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Redding played 60 games in his two-year Cougar career, having started 22 of those games. He averaged 2.7 points and 2.3 assists per game. A native of St. Paul, Minn., Suggs played in 25 games in his lone season with the Cougars this year. He averaged 5.4 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.
